I think I read somewhere that the T68i won't overcharge but now I can't seem to find where I read it. I know it's bad to overcharge phones from experience and I was wondering if I plug in my T68i overnight will that overcharge it? Does it give a sound when it's completely charged?

I just got the phone today and I am loving it. Syncing with iSync and the Ericsson client is flawless. Now I just have to signup for the t-Zones thing.

Thanks in advance!

Na, the phone will manage the charging itself, just plug it in when ever you get the chance.

Thank you very much. I am so impressed with the features of this phone, nevermind the size. It is my first candybar phone as I used to use the Sanyo SCP-5150 with SprintPCS.

well..... thru out all the experience with ericsson t28, t29, t39. it's risky to charge ya phone with traveller charger. over night will shorten the life of the battery and as well as over charge can lead u to board burn.

as for t28,29,39. they have a desktop charger. it's more advise u take in the desktop charger. ya battery life spend longer and it's not risky for ya handset motherboard. board burned will cost u to replace a new one which gonna cost u almost the whole phone.

readed before from here that a user use desktop charger for his t28 model and until now his battery still work as good as new. and he been using it for 2 years.

and also..... service centre will advise u to charge ya battery using a desktop charger. they agree as well desktop charger make ya battery life longer.

but weird tho. T68i have no desktop charger! and because of this... i have to get an imitation desktop charger.

Yes, but those phones didnt have optimized charging. Pop the charger in, and you should get a message saying optimized charging.

If it doesn't need charging, then the phone wont charge. It will look after your battery for you.

informer: it's possible to shorten ya battery life if u keep ya charger on for longtime.

as for me i tried using the traveller charger and the destop charger. by using the traveller charger directly into the phone. the full charged battery can only stand me for 48 hours the most.

but when i try on imitation desktop charger. the full charge of battery can stand me for at least 60 hours.

this is what i found out using competible battery and original battery.
