Hi,

Is it me or does the w950i use a lot of power. The average life of my battery is about 2 days. I do not use bluetooth very often and always make sure it is turned off and generally just use the phone for making calls and sending texts.

I I have the standard 950mA 3.6V battery that came with the phone.

Is there a bigger battery you can buy, or possibly any software that can be used to edit the power settings?

Has anyone else experienced this?

Thanks

Try turning off 3g if you don't need it, it will last 3* as long.

i'm not familiar with bigger capacitiy batteries by SE
maybe you could try a made-in-taiwan-cheap-copy-battery with bigger capacitie. but don't complain if it's beeing blown up

your battary lifetime is depending on it's situationl;
when you have low signal 1-2 bars your battery will go down much faster. this because your phone tries to contact your SP every now and than.

bluetooth consumes quite a lot energy, if you don't use it... turn it off.

same goes for 3G, it's highly energy consuming

Tried that mate and it just says 'session failed'

3G is still attached, is there an option to 'unattach' it?

Thanks

Hi all,

Sorry but i just don't get it why buy a 3G phone and then turn off 3G? people keep on suggesting this in thread after thread and IMO it's just mad.
