does anyone know if its possible to change the firmware of the w700 to w800 firmware?

No its not possible. The only difference anyway is the autofocus, which is hardware based, so its not really worth bothering doing anyway if you could.

@tranced - Yeah : symbian, amphibian or what . .. that's why it's NOT possible . . . like that with W700 to W800 (AF issue).
But why the K750 can be converted to a W800

well heres the thing... i have a messed up k750. so what i did was removed the camera from it and shoved it in my w700.
so my w700 now has an AF camera ..the phone still works but when i use the cam it just crashes... thats why i want w800 firmware.... i want autofocus to work on my w700!
