Has anyone got a working and practical dual sim solution for the P990i or W950i, if so, what is it and some comments please......

Yes, i tried out one of those duel sim holders with the ribbon cable just last night in my P990, not the one where you need to cut the sim cards up.. It was a really old one my flatmate had, to swap sims, you simply switch off and on again. Curiously for what i read, they aren't supposed to work in p990's or 3G, but it appeared to show my 3G symbol, although i didn't try any 3G functions. Both my O2 3G and T-mobile (2G?) sim worked and calls seemed to be fine. Hope that helps, i'm off to buy myself one now

Here are
two companies that sell adapters that are compatible.
There are two kinds of adapters, ones that require cutting of the sim card, and the one that doesn't. Careful which one you purchase (I have linked the ones that don't require cutting).

The one i tried came from ebay, there seems to be plenty on there at any one time. It was a Chinese branded item, but my flatmate says it was called ghost sim. Hope that helps.
