Hi,
I have a P990i and I am about to buy a GPS Bluetooth named BTQ 815. This is the best because it uses 32 satellites in the same time (better than Sirf III with only 20 satellites).
Now, if I buy that one, what SW can I use for navigation on my P990i?
I mean some SW that has maps for Eastern Europe too.
Do you know any that you can recommend?
TomTom, WayFinder etc...
Any input is appreciated.
Thank you.

I am not sure, but I do not think there are that many maps for Eastern Europe And if there are, they are kind of bad, and not in much detail. Where exactly though?
Bt I think TomTom is the one SW to go with.

I am looking for maps in Romania mainly.
I looked on TomTom site and couldn't see any support for UIQ3 devices.
Is there any?
If yes, where can I get it from?

There's a BIG thread titled "TomTom for P990I" in the first page. How could you have missed that?

Hahahahahahaha. As their are only 30 satellites in the sky I'm not too sure how your device will find 32. Not only that, but with roughly 50% being on the other side of the world to you, Sirf III will be able to see all those available.

Yeah, it's quite funny but they list it like this (32 satellites).
However, if there are only 30 and 15 are on the other side of the planet, how is that Sirf III sees 20?
Isn't this also a paradox?

I didn't say that SirfIII could see 20
