Details are a lttle sketchy on numerous sites but the main info is the following...
*Black Casing (like the Dev Models)
*120Gb HDD included instead of 20Gb one...
*HDMI Output now built into the console!
Still NO wifi built in and the HD-DVD is still a seperate accessory!!!
New device will be called The Xbox 360 Elite and will eventually replace the Premium Xbox 360 packs in stores...
The Elite will initially cost about $475 which is still a little cheaper than the PS3 but with the little extras added!

It annoys me a bit though that the 360 will be replaced now the current one will be outdated and I only got mine in October last year. I think it would be better if the elite system sold along side the core and premium systems instead of replacing the premium.

i think its a fantasti idea and its still cheaper than the ps3, but you no full well if it comes with hdmi support for 1080p they gonna be re-doing the h-player with hdmi, so i gonnahang on for my hd-player, but deffinatly having the bew 360 if it comes out and just get my 360 flashed.

The current 360 supports 1080p. Some new games are 1080p and older 1080i games are upscaled to 1080p.

but u will stil be lacking the full 1080p support from the built in HDMI port which cant b fitted to an old Xbox 360...
all the firmware will hold is the update for the 120Gb drive which is goin to b available for all 360's thats all!
The HDMI port will offer full not upscaled like it is at the mo plus it will be 1080p not 1080i...

I'm not bothered by the colour, white suits it better if you ask me. I just hope the 120gb HDD isn't going to be only manufactured in black. Hopefully they'll make it in the original 20gb colour.
