Well, once my nokia refused to tell me who is calling. I could only hear the ring tone but the phone wouldn't show who is calling!!

but for us who dont use S60?
The most ironic "bug" I know of Is the "the phone has restarted for improved perfomance".

The weirdest i've had is probably is the top information bar(batt status, signal etc.) irregualry flashing when my battery went down to the final bar. Only has happened once but i don't know what caused it.

@ Aware
Sorry never seen that on S60 3rd Edition but it looks like the same Kern-Exec 3 that plagues the UIQ3 phones also.
I have to agree with marran that the phone has restarted for improved performance is an all time classic, i still can't understand how any manufacturer thought putting that on any device was a good idea. Might as well put our software and device is rubbish it's just stopped working, as at least that would of scored points for being honest.

reminds me of some plan MS had to put adverts in BSOD's! As if that would be a good look for your product!
"This Latest BSOD has been brought to you by Bob Jane T Mart, buy your tyres from us and keep your car crash free"

Hi Marc,
I wasn't attacking S60(or Nokia).....the app closing is actually the symbian virus from a few years ago(was a problem around the release time of the 7610, IIRR; at the time I had both 6600 AND 6260),
Caribe. If a S60 user received the .sis file, the phone would lock out all buttons/apps/device interaction, and then go on to send itself via BT to any device in range it could find........it had to be combatted inetrnationally, and I'm sure there are many articles about the virus still on the 'net.
As a Systems administrator, I was laughing seeing such a dangerous virus crashing(on a 3650, BTW), as most virii(?) are created too well for this sort of thing to happen - not because it was S60/Nokia! And I must also say, it was VERY difficult to actually get a snap of the message, as it normally cleared itself too quickly(or was thet the P990 camera not initialising quickly enough??)...

Hi Aware,
Seriously no problem i didn't think you were having a pop and i am the first to admit all devices have some problems or another and none are perfect. All we can do is hope they are resolved quickly and efficiently by the manufacturer concerned. Now you have pointed out what it was i do remember hearing about this Virus and the fact people were receiving it via bluetooth , MMS and SMS messages, but at that time i was still only using Ericsson/ SE phones so avoided it.
