Vista does have a lot of bugs!
If i plug the power cable into the laptop while it's booting up or shutting sown, it goes into system restore! Annoying or what.

Vista uses the sound card different than XP. Either you'll need a new driver or a worst a new sound card. I had to get a new sounds as Soundblaster isnt compatible or at least the version I had wasnt.
It's difficult to call without knowing what card you have.

Had the same problem with my laptop(pc), installing realktek audio drivers from the website fixed everything for me.
A new version of bootcamp is just out with lots of extra features and vista support
