I'm looking for a new sony phone for my wife as the Nokia N80 was a nightmare, it needs to be a compatitble with a three sim card as she has a contract on this network.
I was looking at the W710i what are people's opinion of this phone? and has anyone got any other suggestions

It has to be relatively easy to use, the Nokia was a nightmare. I have a SE W850i which I think is a great phone, but think it may be out of her price range (and I don;t want her to keep picking up my phone by mistake)
She would prefer a flip phone, is the W300i a 3g phone, am I right in thinking that a 2g phone won't accept the three sim card?

We have looked at the Z610 and the wife really lied it, however read a lot of reviews saying they were having problems with the phone turning itself off, Has this been resolved?

you'll fine that most models of most phones from most brands will have some sort of problems reported so it makes it hard to decide based on that alone. here we see all sorts of SE models with white screen of death (WSOD) and other issues but generally its just a few people that get these but it doesn't build confidence
go to a nokia forum, or motorola forum, or... and you'll see the same
its really pot luck and it doesn't make it easier to choose a phone
