Yes i know before firmware upgrade it is needed to do a internal drive format and a master reset. As this could make any problem during upgrade. But after upgrade why it is need to do master reset and internal drive format? as the upgrade was successful and we did it before upgrade i dont think it is needed. Do some of u guys tried not doing that things after upgrade? did someone get any problems? then why it is recommended? I mean we dont do a internel drice format and a master reset after buying a new set thought a brand new set is already undermaster reset done. So why here? any logic?

Thats a very good news masseur!!!
if u not do this does any things seems wrong with u after FW upgrade. I mean did u upgrade to lateset FW from SEUS? And now ur phone is running without any problem? Now are u happy with the performance? If it so than many of us will not have to do that crap master reset and format internal drive b4 and after update. so pls speak a few words more.

i didn't knew it's possible to format internal disk and as for master reset, i think it's useless.on any other phones. i can't see how a master reset can fix a problem
my phone runs great. except a multitasking problem which seems to have a lot of m600 users

one thing to mention, before you update the phone, make sure your battery is FULLY charged.

Doesnt SEUS format the phone on itself? Thats what I thought. Otherwise it would make no sense in restoring all the data that was lost through the update. I may also be mistaking...

I also dont see logic in it but as other people experiences tell something different I choose to do only a master reset immediately after fw update. It costs a few minutes more and, what is most important, my phone works great.

formatting the internal disk after SEUS also gets you 20MB extra space on the internal disk, since it deletes all extras such as themes, games etc.

i also like these stuff and i do not want them to be removed from my phone so just restore your contact and unified inbox after update, and your phone will play perfectly.

cheers,
