When I send or receive a MMS message the number of bytes add to my data counter.
I presently get 1MB of GPRS data for £5 and always try to keep within this limit. So is MMS also eating up my 1mb limit - if so MMS on O2 isn't exactly free is it ?

I don't know about O2, but I'm pretty sure that Orange know its an MMS and charge for it as an MMS, so it doesn't count towards your GPRS bundle

The data counter in your phone is just a guide for you, it has nothing to do with how your network charges you!
If it did, you could just keep reseting it and your network wouldn't know what you'd used and what you hadn't used.

Yeh, I have 2 gprs settings - 1 for mms & one for normal gprs.
The mms one that

sent me has never worked so I use the normal gprs profile as advised by o2.
