hi all,
i havn't used SEUS last month, but now i need to update a M600
i downloaded and installed latest SEUS tool.
the usual intro/splash with the liquid logo keeps in loop. and nothing happens
when i launch ma3platform.exe i get a prompt where i need to enter a user/pass. (my account of SE website doesn't seem to respond)
when i try to register a new one using the update service i can't get any further because the passwords i enter doesn't seem to be valid.
anyone got a clue?

usually, when the splash just loops it means there is some problem accessing the server, though sometimes it actually gives a message too.
perhaps try uninstalling SEUS, reboto and resinstall?

ma3platform.exe ??? Isn't that the ema3 application used by the service centres.
U need to run the public version of the update program then you don't need usernames.
Unless if u use the proxy you only get the proxy authentication.

ma3platform.exe is the program installed and executed by SEUS and, I believe, it is called from Update Service.exe which is what your desktop icon actually executes
take a look in C:\Program Files\Sony Ericsson\Update Service
