Just spoke to someone at e2ave today and they currently have p990 clearance stock. It seems SE have discontinued producing this phone so whatevers left in vendors - thats it.
Shame really as i wanted to get this when my contract runs out in June. Onestopphoneshop have clearance and regular stock so perhaps one or 2 will be remaining by then.

sounds like nonesense sales talk to me.
SE won't discontinue production until they have a replacement model announced at the earliest

I sincerley hope this is just rubbish. I said the same thing to the sales staff that SE shouldnt discontinue it until a new model has been announced and even then it would be at least 3 to 6 months before we saw it on the market.

I don't think this will happen now,its to early for the product to be discontinued. I can't find any phone that matches this phone so there is no reason for discontinuing it. Even SE doesn't have a new phone to replace the p990i.

Can't believe people are even talking about this!!!
Such a crap, THIS COMPANY HAS CLEARANCE because THEY don't sell it anymore!
Has obviously nothing to do with SE. What a childish blah blah. Come on guys and gals!
More of interest is WHEN is SE coming out with a new and improved fw!!!

clearance phones from e2save, CPW, mobileshop etc and the like are terms they use just to mean 14 day returns etc, instead of losing money on them totally they sell them at a reduced price to still get the commission for a contract

Yeah, it is their clearance - returns etc.
Sayingf that, with the delays on the P990i there was quite a gap after the P910i was pulled. Was nearly a year if my memory serves me correctly.
