Some providers allow picture messaging only inside a country and offer no possibilities of sending MMS internationally, while SMS can be sent worldwide. Maybe that's what the problem is about. It might be worth contacting your mobile service provider's Call Centre (technical support) to check why the problem occurs and hopefully get a solution.

Cheers.

international mms sometimes causes trouble
this is due the restrictions with roaming contracts between operators.
have you though about email?
this usualy works pretty fly (despends on provider) but you can send text/photo/video etc. with is.
however it's costs could be a little higher.
but mms to a number abroard proble is ever higher

@scar - H m m m m ..... looks like you are a here . . . Well anyway, basing it in the title of your thread here, I was assuming in the first place that it was that picture message from - Nokia handheld units Because I am very used in sending this type of message from my end going to any part of the Earth, via SMS (I would attach a black and white PIC then . . .), 1 attached PIC is equivalent to about 2-3 SMS sent . . . well, I guess the very best that you can do here is the traditional way of recording your VOICE in a cassette-tape . . . or cd-rom Good Luck !
