I read somewhere that the w900 was a test of the geforce chip. There might be a re-release (rumor). When I had my w900, after 2 firmware upgrades it was working like a charm. I miss it, thinking bout getting one back.

Now that was a time when SE was at the forefront of innovation and new technology. The w900i was and still is the best SE phone to date.

You know the W900i was one of those few SE which i loved. Ok it was a little big but it was fab. The camera viewfinder moved so smoothly like a real camera plus it was well built had a great screen too. Only bad thing was battery life was poo. I think it was discontinued cos it was not that popular plus it was only on Vodafone so it never got noticed really plus it did have a fair few software problems. Though it was a Walkman model it was not mass market like SE are these days with most of their phones.

In some countries it was indeed only on Vodafone, but not everywhere.
In my country it was available on Vodafone (white version), but also in black, without any locks and/or branding.
I've bought this black one two months ago, from an internet shop.
