u can only sort the songs according to artist, title or date. U can't edit like the windows media player. Just play in shuffle mode then u can listen to songs without following the sorting

You can play the song in the order you want like this:
1. Create a new Playlist in the Walkman Playlist menu.
2. Add the song one by one as you want to play in order. E.g. Add the first song, then the second, I mean one by one, not marking them all and adding the at one time.
3. Then in the playlist "More" menu select, Sort By - as created.
Then you can listen song in the order you want.

And what a joy that is when you have 50 songs or more
The iPod doesn't have this problem (via iTunes)... but I forget, the iPod is as much an American Devil as President Bush

There is a program for Walkman phones named Walkman Playlist Manager. But I didn't used it very much, as I don't use playlists a lot

I use a program caled SyncTunes for the Mac. It automatically takes your selected iTunes playlists, and puts those songs in a folder of the same name on your phone. So in the

app, I create a new playlist, "mark" the folder of interest, and select "add." Not nearly as slick as the iPod on iTunes... and I still have the problem of song order.

Well don't mark the folder. Try adding the songs one by one in the order you want to play. Then sort them as created.
