Just got a Z610i. However i don't have a create new text message option. In Messaging, Write new, i only have Picture msg, voice message, and Email options. How do i get the text msg option back into the menu?

Nope. That didn't do it. Ran the updater. Installed newer software. Still don't have the new text message option.

Yes, could be ur settings aren't on the phone, like the service centre number. also i've noticed sometimes if u have no credit the new txt option doesn't come up.

And the winner is....!
Cheers. That was it. Called Orange (waited 20 ***kin minutes!), got the sim update text, rebooted, and there we are.
