hi all,

I connected yesterday my P990 with my laptop using wireless, but after that what can I do? I tried to make a shared folder in my laptop but I cant access it in my mobile, and no way also to make a shared folder in P990, so why SE put this feature (adhoc) in P990 while no benefits? can anybody answer me plz????

It is possible to connect to the internet through an ad-hoc WiFi network if one of the nodes can act as a router out of the network (no, the P990 can't do the routing part). That's why.

If you only have for example a PC and a broadband modem you would use adhoc connection. In that case your PC would be connected with modem and play the role of a router. Offcourse PC should also have wifi adaptor and must be turned on all the time if you want internet on your P990.
