Hi,

I thought I'd ask you knowledgeable folks if you know how to make the P990 divert to answer phone after more than 3 rings? It's driving me mad having to scramble for the phone each time, and sadly, the 02 answerphone service sheds no light at all - there's no relevant options, it seems.

Also, is it possible to make the alarm play an entire mp3 rather than just play the first 25 secs and repeat it?

Many thanks in advance!

for the duration of rings before divert to mailbox there is a standard GSM code you use

**61*mn*10*del#

where mn is your full voicemail number and del is the delay in 5 second increments up to a max of 30 seconds

you might have to ask o2 what your full voicemail number is so to set a 30 second delay you would dial some like:-

**61*+441234567890*10*30#

Just turn off the diverts so the phone keeps ringing, just set the divers for no coverage or phone off

thats not really the answer though, when the question is "how to make the P990 divert to answer phone after more than 3 rings"

clearly a divert to answer phone is still required when the phone is ringing (i.e. divert for no answer)
