I updated my P990 firmware to R9EC001
when I try to open the media player I get the error:
Application closed > Reason code =KERN-EXEC > Reason number = 3
and I can never open the media player
Any suggestion plz

it has already been said countless times, if the phone is not working properly after update to latest firmware format internal drive + reflash it...
if it still behaves badly after that (constant reboots, constant kernel errors in main apps, like your case), repeat the process
if it still stays like that, send it to a service center, i canīt think of anything else to do

That should sum it up right ares. And yes, after that it should work ok. If not, then as ares say, take it to a service center
