i jst need 2 knw dat how could i install n use da update software dat came in da cd wid ma cell...
i hav got w700 n i wanna update it software...
furthurmore,would updating be sufficient enuf 4 ma cell 2 work apropriately in da future era?

as far as i know sony ericsson does not ship its update software in the cd included with handsets. you have to download it from the sony ericsson website. after that install it and follow the instructions on the screen. it is recommended that you have a fast internet connection as the software can be pretty large at time (30-70 MB). and yes the update will make your phone more stable and quicker in response times. do care to check the the update once a month as sony ericsson frequently adds newer and better software for its phones.
