Be very carefull when you sell stuff! I sold a £250 shaver last month for £155, turned out it was payed for with a stolen credit card! The owner of the credit card has done a chargeback on all the purchases that were made with out authorisation. Mine been one of them!
I have to pay the £155 back! Paypal have not been helpfull in the slightest bit and just want the £155 their seller protection means nothing! You are not protected! So i have paid a crook £155 to have a £250 shaver! Im not a shop or a business i just sell things now and again and certainly cant afford to be £155 out of pocket! The bastards!

Something similar happened to me recently when I sold a 7610 for £80, and a couple of months later they filed for a chargeback claiming their card had been used fraudulently. I suspected it was the buyer trying it on, tried telling Paypal that to no avail, I lost my money unfortunately.
Did you ship to a 'confirmed' paypal address? It would say on the Paypal confirmation email whether the address was confirmed or not. I shipped to one that hadn't been confirmed, and unfortunately lost my money because of that - the seller protection doesn't cover you if you ship to an unconfirmed address.

From now on i try to only sell stuff on gaybay for under £30 so if i do get that charge back scam and lose i only left a little out of pocket. Ebay really need to help sellers more!

If I sell anything above £40 or so I specify payment from confirmed Paypal accounts only to try to cover myself against any chargebacks, though I still get muppets paying using unconfirmed addresses sometimes!

no it was an unconfirmed address, learnt a harsh lesson with it! Im pretty certain it was the buyer trying it on! Its a stupid law that needs looking at! im gutted! I wont be selling anything to anyone with feedback less than 5 and with an unconfirmed address anymore!
