> Can't update firmware FOR ME

Hi every one
I need some buddy to help me because I can't update my firmware. Every time when I try to update se say you have the latest firmware, but my firmware is old one. So can some one help me?

the latest firmware for cda .../1 or .../2 is r9ec, but your cda is ..../6 that means it is branded. it is not world generic 1 or 2.
it takes time until your operator is going to release a new firmware

either way, if SEUS says there is no update then you're only hope is the same as for branded phones and htat is to change your CDA to world generic using the method in
this thread and then update on SEUS
if I am right and yours is Hong Kong and you have chinese on there too, you will unfortunately lose that

Not sure if you still need it, but I stumble on some info that may be of use to some people here...
CDA 162007/6 is the code for HongKong "unauthorized imported" models... according to some online info, it seemed that R7A will be THE FINAL firmware update for it... the CDA code for HongKong "authorized dealer" models, it's: CDA 162008/68. With that, you will be able to continue to get updates on the firmware...
I think this is a pretty dumb practice... I can understand if SE HongKong refuses to service the "unauthorized imported" products, but SE corporate shouldn't take the same position. They made the phone, they sold the phone, they should at least make sure that the product they make can achieve relative "bug-free" level......
