Sure there is! and am actually using it. U can protect anything. It's the Advanced Device Locks.

Sometime last year I lamented the lack of that type lock on SE's phones. Some members here felt it was pointless but I still would like that even though it seems SE is not interested in that. Afaik only samsung and motorola offer this kind of password protect on any folder. Pity.
