Well, the time has come. I've been using E/SE phones for ages, but it seems that SE doesn't need users like me anymore. I'm looking for a phone with: miniUSB, jack connector (I hate non-standard cables), 240x320 display, good-looking with metal parts and relatively small sized (K800 is too large and bulky)

The W-series phones are simply ugly, I hate the kinder-design of them. The next K-series phone is probably not going to be released this year and I need a new phone now.

So I'm buying the Nokia N6300. It's small and extremely good looking in my eyes, has miniUSB, the jack connector is 2.5, not 3.5, so I need a reduction, but it's excusable for me. I'm bit affraid of the Nokia UI, I hope I will get used to it. Has anybody here the 6300? What's your experience with it? Thanks a lot! I really hope that SE will start to produce good phones again, not plastic toys based on downgraded K750 & W810, so I can return to SE phones again.

I can understand your dilemma. I've been taking a fresh look at Nokia lately with the (heavily discounted) purchase of a 6234. Not sure if I like the UI yet but a very impressive 2.0Mp Camera and the stereo speakers have superb sound - for a phone.

Nokia are definately a better alternative to than they used to be.
I still think the N-series phones are ugly, but the 6234 is very easy on the eye IMO.

Good choice i prefer Nokia i have a 6233 which is similar. So far its been reliable has not crashed once is very fast easy operation the menu is just as good as SE. Dont know why people hate Nokia UI its fine. Its Motorola who pants. I think you will like it. Read review of it in What Mobile mag just out this week or go to Website.

Yes they do have the best UI. On a Nokia i can text so fast and navigate the menus at lightning speed something you can do on a SE there too slow. Also its so easy to use its the only interface i love. SE one is good but not perfect. Have any of you SE fans not seen the VGA video recording on the latest Nokias its amazing and their cameras are good though with no auto focas or flash its still fantastic. Screen quality call quality build quality are all perfect on the 6233. Its not the dark side going with Nokia.
