I just got a T68i and have looked through all the menus on the phone, in the manual, and all over this site where to fix this problem.

Everytime someone leave me a voice mail I get an voicmail indicator AND a text message saying I have a voice mail. What the heck !

It's getting annoying and I can find no way to disable it! All the text message says is "voicemail"....

Anyone know what I can do ?

Sounds more like a network thing. Try calling your voicemail and changing yor settings there.

That's dependent on the network...coz on other countries (like here in Phil)...there's a charge whenever you access your voice mail...so the network informs the subscriber that he has a voice mail so that that's the only time he would check/or retrieve it...

Seeing this I woudl assume you are on AT&T, they have been trying to figure out how to turn this off, but they have had no success yet. Just ignore it or delete it. No biggie.

same problem (att in ny)
it's their problem, the way they designed notification.
it's a nuisance, and i'm constantly deleting sms's.

otherwise, love the t68i, had it about 10 days.
(tho wish i could kill some of the main screen icons....
and keep the screensaver running..)

With voda uk i only get an sms whenever someone leaves me a message m i like it though ,

If the sms displays the number then enjoy it. We used to have that feature with Tmobile and they changed over to a single sms that just updates with the number of vm's. Before, I could look at the number and decide whether or not to check vm. Now i dont have that choice and it really bugs me
