The Pentagon put out a call for proposals for a shape-shifting "chemical robot," or ChemBot, that can pour itself into small spaces and creep under doors, then TRANSFORM ITSELF on the other side back into its regular shape. ( T1000 from Terminator 2 May become a reality).

ED-209 is fine until you factor stairs into the equation!

And didn't that have a few firmware bugs that lead to it machinegunning an OCP executive to death? Your SE might have a few bugs but at least it didn't do that!

There is only one piece of robotic genius...

There is only one robotic legend...

You would think they'd concentrate on making normal robots before they start going for things like this, maybe this "interest" is evidence that they already do...?

Asimo - The world's most advanced robot.

Built by Honda Motor Co.
I saw the previous generation Asimo when he came to NZ a couple of years back. Very cool.

Well, they wouldn't need to give the robot full AI, eg the ability to read people's faces for emotions like Asimo, they just need something that can recognise a targets face and kill the crap out of it without killing anybody else... God help you if yo're wearing a mask...

Cheers
