playing around i found that if while i hold down # key, i press 0 the LCD shuts down! not very usefull but its another trick

it's an old trick actually to bring out your screensaver on the screen. you can press # along with 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, * or any key actually.
if you don't set any screensaver, then the screen will get off like your phone does.

only works for a few seconds. then it comes out of the screensaver as if you have pressed a button.
yes it works with # and any button
