Just got my K550i and really happy with it except it does not have the option for a standby clock! I saw on wotan server that you can update the firmware and convert the K550i to W610i. Would that be a good idea? Does the W610i have a standby clock option?

Are you sure you have enabled the option. Maybe the screensaver is taking over mate.

Try updating the firmware with SEUS

Oh ok...no, the screensaver is not active and there is no option in the menu for "standby clock". I just read the W610i manual, and there does not seem to be that option in that phone either

It might be like the clock on the W810, you have to push the volume or key for the clock to show.

if its still under warranty, i wouldnt "rape" it with a wotan flash. that fone is still new on the market, might be it could cause some other bugs, if u use wotan

hi i also bought this phone and was surprise to see no standby clock, one thing i can deduce from it is that because k550i and w610i uses TFD lcd compared to the other TFT lcd. and when TFD screen is in standby, its black in colour unlike TFT it is white in colour. Hope this information helps although i am not too sure if i am right
