I was wondering, what is the best program for converting your movies/music videos that you downloaded from internet down to p990 resolution?

Can you watch video's somehow while the flip is closed?

And i downloaded divx player for my p990i as well but a error comes up when i pick a divx format video

"no codec for video format"
"3iv2"

Look in to getting the smartmovie video player comes with a simple converter but it costs money ~(www.lonelycatgames.com). as for DIVX you need a codec on your device so you can actually play the video. Or you need a dedicated video player that can play DIVx as standard the P990 does not play Divx.

Flip Closed Video is not possible with the standard device applications.

For converting any type of video and audio files to other format, I am using Total Video Converter. It converts any types of downlodaded videos (divx or xvid) dvd, vcd to mp4 for ipod, psp, nokia, sony ericsson, also to 3gp videos and to so many other formats. It has plenty of options that it is the only converter im using for all my video and audio conversions. It is also very simple to use.

The folder on the memorystick for videos is 'video'.

You can move any movie that can play in the native video player into the camera directory. Then you can play the movie in flip-closed mode using the Camera application.
