Is ther ANY way to get a prior firware reinstalled into your phone ?
the last 2 FW left my phone unusable as the audio is very low,.
I just recently got my p9900 back from the sevice center on monday, and it has the latest FW installed from the serivce center, however the problem still exists.
I think that means i have the LATEST that SE created, and it was installed by them.
So is there anyway to go back to a previous FW? i have generic World 1- maybe i can brand it with tmobile if this would solve the problem.
any thoughts ?

i had the same problem when i updated to the r4. i found a post somewhere on a forum that fixed it. you go into the service menu to the speaker setting, change the volume from 50 percent up to the full 100, exit, reboot et voila! volume as loud as before so that you have to turn it down at times! ive tried it and it works. saved my sanity heh heh. that volume issue had me ticked off for over a month. wish i could give credit to the poster who originally posted it but i cant recall. let me know if it works for you.

there was a thread, more like a poll, and someone was asking if it will make sense to keep a server with the upgrades itself. I mean every version, and then you could pay and get the one you wanted. So to answer ur questions, it is possible to go to any FW version as long as you have access to the FW version.
But this is not possible through SEUS. The SEUS will only update to the latest (and maybe back one versions, as we seen lately

)

Kulankendi can change the cda, if you know the old cda number you may be able to go back to it.

You can certainly do it with a paid service like DaVinci Team, but not with SEUS. SEUS is a one-way deal, only the latest firmware. You would think they'd include an option to downgrade since new firmware can cause havoc and often does, but apparently that's too much to ask.

Wow, I was about to visit a doctor to let him check if my hearing capabilities decreased over the last 2 month - I never imagined that the new firmware could decrease the phone's volume so badly. This trick worked perfectly for me - thanks a lot!
