> w950i & pc suite difficulties

hi all
i'm having troubles syncing my w950i with pc suite. i'm connecting using a usb. both the icons in the system tray highlight when connected. i start syncing & the status bar starts to increase. it gets as far as just under the 'c' in 'synchronisation' above & then the window closes, 'synchronisation summery' window opens with '1 general error' highlighted in red & also 'error due to' - 'no connection to mobile phone' also highlighted in red.
i have sucessfully managed to sync maybe twice in 20 attempts. same problem as above each time even though the phone is connected.
any clues?

Don't know what the problem is but maybe My phone explorer or FMA works
