I have imported a few pictures (Jpeg) from my computer on to my K800i and even if I can see them on the memory the phone won't show them on its screen. So I have resized the pictures, and even saved them in Gif, nothing works, the pictures are still not viewable. Does anyone know what goes wrong?

Yes it is. I have one as a screensaver. Even my old t68 grey supports gif images.

If it's a .jpeg file then the size shouldn't matter. You should be able to display it and the phone should resize it. My K790i does this. Perhaps they're just not in the proper directory on your memory card like Tranced said.
