i have a 4 year old P800 and recently its been acting weird, pls help me be back to where i started, the time i first bought it. i have remove the flip and my jog dial is no longer working

hmm, I just dug out my old P800 to remind myself but I'm sure that without the jogdial on the P series I don't think there is anyway to get into the service menu to do the format internal disk

in fact without the jog dial, I think there is very little you can do on the phone

there is a way, and it`s your only way:
install FrontView from http://cellphonesoft.com/ - there is a trial version. Launch it with virtual flip closed and select from menu: Special -> Service menus. Aplication will launch the combination with jog ang * by itself, giving you the acces to format internal drive option.
