When the phone earpiecce volume is over 2-3 bars then the earpiece tends to buzz, vibrate when a caller is speaking, it is O.K under the 2-3 bars but is not very loud. Is this a problem with all phones or will it be a speaker fault with the phone that will need to be repaired. (I am talking about the earpiece on the actual phone and not a hands free earpiece)

sounds like a network problem to me? it seems the phone's not at fault, but your network operator? you can test the speakers by playing some ringtones loudly? if it doesn't crack while playing, then probably it's the network operator's fault.

otherwise do a firmware update? it's up to R1JG now on SEUS, which is free. you can check your firmware in the settings menu of the phone, and can find out firmware details from the firmware thread somewhere round here.

I am having the exact problem, where the speaker starts buzzing above three bars. I have sent the phone for repair and the speaker has been replaced but the sound is still there!

Any ideas!

Thanks

Its probably not secured properly to the phone, which means when the volume is loud, the speaker shakes to much and makes contact with other parts of the phone and makes the buzzing noises.

The earpiece and speaker have been rechecked and they are definately 100% secure, however the buzzing sound is still there!
