> Z610i charging error
Bookmark topic
Hello,
I am having a problem with charging my z610i. I am using the offical se charger + battery that came with the phone and I have updated to the latest firmware R1JG001. When I put the phone onto charge an error message appears "Charging Error, Stop Charging." I do not want to keep the charger in as it may harm the battery.
Any suggestions?

Sounds like hardware problem. Check with different battery and charger.

It is definitely due to a faulty charger. Get it replaced from the SE store. I had d same prob with my W550i...

I'm not sure. The phone battery completely discharged after I had forgotten to charge it. I then put it on charge and turned it on, to receive the text messages a voicemails I had missed. I then left it overnight to charge. When I came to use it in the morning, the phone still had no battery even though it had been on charged all night and the error message was appearing. I put it on charge again and the error message appeared again, so I disconnected it and used the USB cable to charge the phone to full capacity, which worked fine. Yesterday, I tried to charge it again using the mains charger and it worked fine.
I think it was to do with the battery being charged from totally discharged, so I won't let it run down totally again.

i had a similar problem when i updated my W950i's firmware, i then plugged it to recharge and the battery was recharging apparently and left it overnight and it was still charging so i unplugged it and it had 1% battery!
restarted it then voila...was back to normal again
