Hello all.
First sorry for my english. But i will try
I have some problems with my Sonyericsson p990. I have tryed to make a firmware update and after that. there have been a lot of problems. But the most anoying one is that the phone wont use its "autofocus" on the camera. So the pictures looks not very good. And you nearly cant see it.
I have tryed to do a masterreset. And also done a new firmware update. The new firmware update had fixed on some problems. But not on the one with the camera.
It gets very anoying that i cant use the camera on the phone.
I have wrotet a email to Sonyericsson and waiting for response.
But any of you that have a idea of what the problem can be??

It could be that the focus mechanism has broken, if it is you'll need a new camera unit.

So the firmware update can have broken the camera??? :S
Will call Sonyericsson tomorrow.. And then try after that to call the place where i have brought it if sony cant help me..

I have dropped the phone before. But what i can remember not something that have came before the phone update.
I have dropped it but it was a long time ago. Before the problem with the Camera have been there.
I have used the camera a lot of times. Becouse it is a good one. But after the firmware update the problem with the autofocus not working have come.
It says the "click" sound as it shuld use the funktion. But nothing happends on the picture.

wait for the next firmware. Mine also doen't work properly. but in macro mode, it is work perfectly. Olbo said that, (The guy who used the new firmware) with new firmware, picture are looks ok and autofucus is working perfectly.

hi Kehaan yes mine one 70% time autofocus is not working and in this form, many users told that, they have same problem. so this is may not the hardware problem.
