I wanted to throw a party last week but my pc was not available and so I wanted to hook my se k750i to the sound amplifyer, but I could not find any adapter. Is this even possible? I found some accessories and I think it might work.

the problem with the portable speakers is.. they kill your battery quite fast. but the audio amplifier doesn't need more juice then a set of headphones. I'm just worried not to damage my phone...

Those adapters sure work. I got one off eBay for a few AU dollars. Then you get some 3.5mm to RCA cables and hey presto.

I just use RCA cables and the headphone adapter supplied with the phone! and i use that at work through my 1991 Sony portable twin deck stereo and then at home through my hi-fi and it sounds great! i have to blow the dust off my Cd's anytime i wanna use them nowadays!

Those adapters aren't available here, so I spliced my headphones with a 3.5mm stereo socket, and now I can listen to my music using regular headphones, and play music on my phone either on my home stereo or in my car. Looks crude, but it works and it didn't cost me a dime.

You can disconnect the earplugs from a HPM-70 headset to get the same effect, I have done that and connected two PC speakers. If you are experiencing problems with battery drainage, why not use a CST-75 charger? It has a piggy-back connector where you connect the audio cable. Since these cables also come from SonyEricsson themselves, I cannot imagine it shoud cause any harm to the phone, unless you short-circuit the connectors or feed the output with a power source or similar, of course.

Yes, sadly. I realised too late that I should've cut the wire after the microphone.
