> How to fix a dead m600i?
Bookmark topic
Hi, I've got an m600i, bought in Hong Kong (with Singapore Firmware(!)), I live in Australia.
It was updating via SEUS, and I knocked it at 98% (so close!) and it disconnected. Now it turns on to a black screen.
I have been in contact with Sony Ericsson in Australia, and they flatly refuse to touch it, as apparently Australian dealers only have access to Australian firmware. So basically, I can't get the phone fixed - at all.
SEUS states 'your phone is already up to date', and won't let me continue (yes, I am using the latest version of SEUS).
I've been looking round for other ways to fix it, and have come across Kulankendi, but wanted to see if it would actually work before I dive into it...

imo u should bring it to se and check it there, and even let it flash there instead of kk.

he did say that he has been in contact with SE and they won't touch it
Most times, SEUS gives you the choice to reflash, even if you have the latest firmware, so its a shame on this occassion that it is not giving you that choice
KK sounds like the only possibility for you as it does sound like SEUS is able to interrogate the phone for its CDA etc and so hopefully KK will be update to update the CDA to something else which will then allow you to use SEUS again
good luck!
