Can anybody help with this..
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I used Kulankendi to falsh my Vodafone P990i, it said all completed ok, when I try to update using SEUS it says I have latest version but I dont, there is no option to update anyway. I thought I would try to flash again but now I have the error bypass req.
I am able to read phone info ok, but not flash.

Here’s what read info says :-
Hold 'C' button and plug DCU60 USB cable.
Phone Connected...
Detected: DB2000: P990i,M600i,W950i Series
Phone IMEI:XXXXXXXXXXXXX

EROM CID:49
Phone Model:P990i

CCK: - Unlocked - 5
PCK: - Unlocked - 5
Phone Code: 0000: - Empty
Phone Code lock state: - Unlocked
All Done! - Time:00:00:02

Heres what my phone says it has:-
Phone CXC162037 R7A001
BLUETOOTH CXC162058 R4F01
ORGANIZER CXC162036 R3B01
CDA
CDA162007/1 R3A01
CDA162008/91 R3A01

Now I cannot flash the phone. I check delete startup logo, check cda and type in cda162007/1.

When I try to flash phone I get error ‘not supported’ or :

Hold 'C' button and plug DCU60 USB cable.

Phone Connected...

Error: Bypass!> REQ.

Yes I did install SEUS again, So now I have paid twice and have a phone that cannot be updated.
The second CDA was added the first time I used Kulankendi.
I have re-installed SEUS, I ve tried using the @ instead of C and when I use SEUS there is no option to install anyway, I can only exit.
Kulankendi does not answer emails and I see a number of others have problems with this bypass req message.

I think you are not supposed to check "delete startup logo". You know why? Because when you change the CDA and update to the latest generic software the start up logo will change to the default SE one. Maybe that is the problem, I may be wrong... just suggesting.

Thanks tajrian.
I didn't think it would make any difference and I actually wanted to delete the stupid Vodafone start logo..
Anyway I gave it a try and reflashed with Kulankendi without delete start logo this time and it worked. When I used SEUS it recognised phone as World Generic 1 and updated...
Vodafone logo is gone, seems to be taking a very long time to start up but I hope its ok and I can now have a useable phone.
Thanks again.
