Does anyone notes that if you hear your ringtone from File Manager, the sound is different than you hear from the settings>sounds & alerts>ring volume...?
I mean is the quality...
If your hear from the settings, it sounds more mid...

If I'm not wrong, that's cos when you play it from file manager, it uses the media player, which has better audio quality, but volume is softer. If you play it from "Settings", it plays it as a ringtone, which is louder but sacrifices the quality.

yes.. the ringtone sound (when there's incoming call) is exactly the same loudness and quality with the sound in Settings - Sound - Volume.
@AATUIF
for quality, I think the softer one in the File Manager is better. You can more easily hear the bass of the sound. the one in Settings is much louder, but resulting quite a poorer quality, less bass element.

That is because the ringing volume and the sound playing are different drivers stored in the firmware as separate files. So the one has louder volume but worse sound, and the other is better sound and lower volume. The ringing one is optimized to be easily heared when the phone is ringing, message, alarm or etc...
Btw, the ringing volume can be changed by modifying the accoustic drivers of the phone. Not possible with all phones, only K750,W800,W810 and etc...
