I'm referring to the
wired car handsfree kit:
I have a few questions, and the

site has no answers
1) I assume a microphone is included Is it uni-directional or omni-directional? Is it hard-wired into the kit, or is it removable/replaceable? Does it have a standard 3.5mm minijack or something else? I ask because I'd like to use my own omni-directional mic; most aftermarket ones have a 3.5mm minijack on the end.
2) With the HCE-26 Music Mute, is there any way around the 2-speaker-only playback? This seems terribly limiting!
3) If your vehicle came from the factory with a preinstalled amplified sound system, are there any issues with sound quality, volume, or noise?
This thread tells me it might be a problem, but that's only one user.

No one on Esato uses an HCA-60?
Not one single member?

The microphone isnt great (on bad roads) I stuck it onto an old goosneck that I had, so I could put it closer to my mouth, the Voice quality for the
other person is a LOT better.
The microphone plug into the control box is a 2 or 4 little boxes adapter, so you cant plug a normal jack (like you could have done with HCA-20)
I cut the iso plugs and hard wired it so that I have sound in all 4 speakers.

Thanks for the reply. Too bad about the mic...
Do you use the HCE-26 Music Mute with your HCE-60? I understand (I think) what you're saying about cutting the ISO plugs. I guess you somehow spliced each pair of +/- wires from the

kit into 2 pair of +/- wires on your radio?
Seems like a waste, since my car's factory wiring also uses ISO plugs

I think I'll just get a

handsfree from Parrot instead - (1) their mic's use 2.5mm or 3.5mm mono minijacks, and (2) they also use ISO plugs.

Hi
I had to cut the wires, as the SE music mute only gives sound to two the front speakers.
So from the output of the Music mute Drivers front Left, I have the speaker front left and speaker rear right.
