hey guys, i got my p990i unlocked and debranded in a shop, in the system info it shows like this
phone:
CXC162037 R7A001
bluetooth:
CXC162058 R4F01
organizer:
CXC162036 R3B01
CDA:
CDA 162008/16 R3A02
CDA 162007/1 R3B01
i've tried to SES update it but it claims i have the latest version. For which i think it's slightly true according to this site
http://uiq3.sourceforge.net/wiki/index.php/CDA/P990i -it was on Orange UK.
How do i get rid of the first cda number? so i can update it to the lastest generic firmware (the second one is world firmware 1 right?)
i've already formatted it for there are still 2 cda numbers.
thanks

have you formatted the internal disk using the service menu?
and performed a master reset in the control panel?

The shop that did it did a poor job,
Take it back, tell them not to be so cheap do it again properly.
2 CDA's occur when a server is not used to update the CDA article when flashing.

a reflash with seus usually solves that problem..
and oh, i just read your post again..
when you are told that you have the latest firmware, just "continue anyway"

thanks, but if i reflash using SEUS and "continue anyway" even though i "have the lastest version" would it revert back to the orange uk cda or world generic 1 cda?
