I dissasembled my K800i to remove dust etc. and all seems to work perfectly, except that a very small 0.6cm long green tube must have fallen out of the phone during the process and I have absolutely NO idea what it is. Everything, including the camera, works fine. Can anyone help? Thanks!

It could be that it wasn't from the phone in the first place...

My advice:
If all is working fine, keep the piece safe until something goes wrong (hopefully it won't), then you'll know that this thing is to blame and you can have it sorted then.

this in an apart, what is between the cover and motherboard, inside, at the bottom of the fone, placed in a little tube. donnow the proper word in english, it to "shadow-box" the fone

It must be something to keep the pcb, at bay, from the other parts... (rubber is an insulating mat. so...)

Talking about taking the K800 to peices, im assuming it is as easy as the w800? Just a few screws and clips as mine could do with a clean and a new lense

Think it's some kind of rubber that just pads the mainboard, don't think it's anything vital.

@JJ - taking the K800i apart is a bit more tricky than a W800i - the M2 cover can be a pain, you have to pull that out gently to get the phone apart, it is just T6 screws and the little phillips headed ones on the cam cover.

btw, I think with the K800i you keep the cam lens cover CLOSED when you take it apart, i opened mine then noticed when i put it back together I nearly broke the little microswitch! I'd also take the mem card out too, I left mine in and managed to break the spring that keeps it in place - I have to use a bit of paper and Blu Tack to keep the mem stick in place now
