When i switch my p910i on it all loads up then at the bottom of the screen it comes up with a box that says continue!!!! i been told its because the phone was unlocked and looking for a splash/startup screen picture, any ideas can i just use this to change my picture and it will stop looking for something else????
How to get rid of the Orange home screen?
To remove the Orange home screen:
* Use any file manager, go to C:\System\Autostart folder and rename the homescreen.ast file to any other name e.g. homescreen.abc
* Download and install Sony Ericsson Desktop application
* Reboot the phone. SE Desktop will appear instead of Orange home screen when you open the flip.
* If you don't want to use the SE Desktop and you prefer to have the standard Applications launcher like on unbranded phones, simply uninstall the SonyEricsson Desktop application and reboot your phone.
* Another advantage is that now the first (left most) icon on the icon bar goes back to Messaging and can be freely changed to any shortcut of your choice.
