MY DAD BOUGHT ME A SOME SAMSUNG PHONE THROUGH CINGULAR THAT I DIDNT LIKE. SO I GOT ON EBAY AND BOUGHT A BRAND NEW MOTOROLA SLVR UNLOCKED. ITS A PRETTY NICE PHONE. I PUT MY SIM IN AND I AM ABLE TO CALL AND TEXT BUT THATS IT. I AM NOT ABLE TO USE THE NET AT ALL. I CAN USE IT ONMY OLD PHONE BUT NOT THE NEW ONE. I TALKED TO A DUDE AT RADIO SHACK AND HE SAID THAT BECAUSE I DIDNT BUY ITTHROUGH MY PROVIDER THAT THE GPRS WOULD NEVER WORK. I KNOW NOTHING ABOUT THIS STUFF. DOES ANYONE KNOW IF I CAN FIX IT OR DID I JUST GET SCREWED IN THE DEAL?

I bet you dont have the correct settings on your mobile. Phone them and ask for the service or simply visit their website and send yourself the gprs settings via sms

Yes, that's it... And the operator's assertion that wap will only work on it's branded phones, doesn't make sense... crazy...
