> k800 vs n95 camera review
Bookmark topic
www.mobileburn.com has a review that compares the k800 and n95 cameras, overall the k800 comes out ahead in everyday conditions, the n95 is better only where there is artificial lighting.
no need it seems to rush out and buy a n95 for the 5mp camera.

nobody is going to rush out and buy a N95 for its 5MPIX cam. The camera is not the main focus of N95, it doesnt have camera branding all over it like K800. Its an all rounder device which has everything, including an excellent cam.
Back to the point, there is not enough difference there to make a K800 a sure winner. Sure, when compared side by side, K800 wins, but then again, i take pictures to look at them, not to compare them with other phones, because that'd be retarded.
Oh and i forgot, nokia doesnt have any background experience with music or cameras, so to come close to "cybershot" its a pretty big step for them.

k8 has got a good cam and thats it. as written above, the symbian os, built in gps etc are more important for the ones, who go for n95 imo. this endless comparisons are getting boring. k8 is "better", thats the end of all reviews. and?

its just one more proof that megapixels mean nothing...
so, SE bring a MXXX with the same 3mp camera of k800, and it will be perfect, no need more mp

Yeah but they still have their lenses endorsed by Carl Zeiss - whether that means anything or not I don't know.
However, I think the N95 camera is better for the simple reason that it has 50% more megapixels so the pictures will always be sharper and more detailed.
Personally, I won't be rushing out and buying one for the 5mp. 3.2mp is more than enough for me.

ah, you saying the lens has nothing to do with the final outcome of images QVGA?
carl zeiss would have looked after majority of the camera.....

Carl Zeiss would have provided Nokia with a few pointers.
Unless they just bunged him some money so they could use his name - which I very much doubt.
