I've always had problems doing this and I've just spent a frustrating 20 minutes trying to attach a handstrap to my N95

its not just this one, I always have problems doing this.

They make two tiny holes at 90 degrees to each other and expect this floppy cord, which is not much smaller than the holes, to go through

all I seem to do is scrunch it all up inside the whole and it doesn't make the bend and then as I'm grabbing a bit more to push in... it falls out!

any tips gratefully received!

a safety pin works a treat..

or after 6 years in a phone shop i can do it without any assistance

usually goes in one way easier than the other

All you have to do is slot it in a little bit and you can pull the rest through using a needle.

For my W900i, I push the cord in enough till I could see it on the other hole then I get a thumbtack or a needle and lift it and viola!

I usually use a thin metal wire - and use it as a flexible needle and pull the strap as sewing thread through the hole.

I find that rotating the strap whilst pushing it through normally works!!

@masseur, if you're looking for a better way to do it without having to use any other tools, just try to twist the cord before you attempt to put it through the hole. I find that twisting the cord makes it a bit more firm so it's easier to push through.

Another nice feature on the K800: easiest strap hole ever.

@alrodlop no k800's is not the easiest ever..

@all
have you used a K500 for a while???the way the strap is attached to this phone is UNIQUE,AMAZING,you MUST check it out if you have a k500 available around....no holes,no pushing,no firm,no rubbing....i can't describe this,this is something you should see for yourself...attaching a strap takes less than a sec.

dissapointed why this was not continued any more,i miss my k500...
