Anybody have any problem with the reception!? After a year of use, the reception singal bar tend to fluctuate a lot. It jumps from 1 to 4 and 4 to 2, etc... and so very often I drop calls and sometimes cant even dial out. Anyone have the same/similar problem?

Yes exactly the same problem after about a year of use, i put up with it for a while because my service centre is far away, then one day i tightened the little metal clips that hold the sim in(on other t68`s i have noticed these clips have been lengthened a bit,maybe a later mod), i was VERY carefull when i did this, BUT at the same time i unscrewed the front cover and brushed & blew (compressor or cycle pump) all the dust out & it has not done it since, now i clean it every couple of weeks. ...ps, button problems are also dust related sometimes.

WOW you have fully covered version with no small gap around joystick or in between electrical contacts, so you dont have dust under your screen either, you lucky thing, i clean out many coleagues phones in my area, it`s a real problem, ..one had a pubic hair in it....maybe the Malaysian phones have gaps & the swedish ones don`t he he he

@Dumbdumb

I had the same problem with my T68m. I got it fixed, and apparently it is a circuit called N400 (or something) that controls the amplification of the radio signal that had broke.

Symptoms:

Often have to try several times before being able to make a call

Dropped calls

Cannot send SMS sometimes

People get redirected to your voice mail even though the phone is on and reception seems to be good

Reception indicator varies a lot.

After the exchange of the circuit the T68m worked just fine!
