just recently, i bought a se k618

philippines has 3 mobile network providers, globe, smart and sun
when i am using the globe and smart sim cards, the phone is doing ok but when i inserted my sun sim card, the display shows inactive sim

please help... anything i can do to fix this problem thanks a lot

maybe the phone is sim locked...

is it ok to update firmware of k618i fon with a k610 firmware.... there is no k618i in the seus

it says sim lock network 5

then it has mnc 2 and mnc 3

Look next to network. If the phone is SIM locked the little padlock should be locked and if it isn't SIM locked, the padlock should be unlocked.

i think that may be a problem with your 3G network. try switching the network settings to GSM only then restart your phone.
